The
Lincoln Marine Corps League recently recognized the
United Riders of Central Illinois. A plaque was
presented to the club by Gene Hickey of the Marine
Corps League.
The United Riders had hosted a fish fry fundraiser
and had given a donation to the League from the
proceeds. The Marine Corps League helps veterans
throughout the community. Among other things, they
provide electric mobility devices and build
wheelchair ramps to help improve the quality of life
for fellow veterans.
