The Saturday Pink
Shirt picture for the Lincoln Daily News Paint the
Paper Pink campaign features several of the friends
at Friendship Manor in Lincoln. They join together
as friends sharing common ground because they are
all concerned about cancer warriors and want to show
their support to those in our community who are
battling any form of the formidable disease.
Friends and friendship are important words in the
life of all of us but most especially in times of
struggles and battles such as when waging war on
cancer. To our warriors, we want you to remember
that there are people who support you, your friends
who will gather around and help hold you up. Don’t
shut them out. You need them, and they need to be
needed, so bring your friends into your battle and
let them help ease your load wherever possible.
