Logan Mason ROSC to host annual
recovery walk in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ill. — Community
members are invited to join the Logan Mason Recovery Oriented
Systems of Care (ROSC) for its annual Walk 4 Recovery event on
September 17 in recognition of National Recovery Month.
The Logan County Walk 4 Recovery will be held on Thursday, September
17, from 4 – 6 p.m., at Scully Park, 303 S. Kickapoo St., Lincoln.
The free community event will bring together individuals in
recovery, family members, friends, advocates and supporters to honor
lives lost, celebrate recovery achievements and raise awareness
about substance use and mental health challenges.
“The Walk 4 Recovery is a powerful reminder that recovery is real
and that support makes a difference,” said Grace Irvin, prevention
coordinator, Chestnut Health Systems™. “By coming together as a
community, we can honor recovery journeys, remember those lost, and
inspire hope for those who are still finding their path.”

The Walk 4
Recovery event aims to reduce stigma, foster connection and
highlight the importance of recovery support services within
local communities. Anyone whose life has been impacted by
addiction, mental health or recovery is invited to participate.
The event is free to attend, no registration necessary.
Participants are encouraged to wear the color purple, the
nationally recognized color for recovery. For more information
