Villa Estates holds Paint and Sip
event

On Sunday, March 22, over 20 people
from the community participated in a paint and sip event at Villa
Estates led by Kayla Hueneburg.
The event was free to those in
attendance thanks to sponsorships from Home Instead, Advanced
Healthcare Services, LLC and Transitions Hospice.
The template for the event was a
summer inspired scene with a pot full of flowers. Participants drew
a flowerpot using a stencil, then Hueneburg led them step by step
through outlining it. Next participants would paint the background,
a table, flowers and finally the stems.

Each person chose from a variety of
colors for the pot and flowers. Some painted stripes while others
painted them a solid color.
While painting, attendees enjoyed appetizers, dirty sodas or wine.
Wine was donated by Spirited Republic.
When paintings were completed, the
group held them up and posed for a photo. There were clearly many
talented people at the event.
