VFW vendor sale a great side trip
at the Railsplitter Festival

Saturday morning the Cronin
Brothers VFW Freedom Hall was abuzz with shoppers visiting the
annual vendor sale held in conjunction with the annual National
Railsplitting Festival in Lincoln.
This year there were some new
vendors and some that we have seen in the past were absent. This may
have been due to the change in date for the festival and subsequent
vendor sale, but it had little impact on the turnout as the shoppers
enjoyed each booth they stopped at throughout the morning.

Outside the VFW, the Marine Corps
League was hosting its annual fresh grilled sandwich sale, and there
were other vendors along the sidewalk as well.
In summary it was a fun accent to the day, just as it always seems
to be.
