CAPCIL Brings Trunk or Treat
Indoors for a Spooktacular Night of Family Fun!

LINCOLN, IL — Get ready to grab
your costumes, gather the family, and join Community Action
Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) for its second agency-wide
Trunk or Treat event!
Following the success of last year’s event, CAPCIL is bringing the
Halloween fun INSIDE this year for a festive, family-friendly
evening of trick-or-treating, decorated offices, costumes, treats,
and plenty of spooky-season fun!
Moving the event indoors means families can enjoy the festivities
comfortably, no matter what the October weather has in store.
Children can make their way through creatively decorated “trunks”
throughout the event while collecting treats and enjoying a fun
Halloween atmosphere.
“This event is a fun way to bring
our community together,” said Jenifer Deweese, CEO of CAPCIL. “We’re
excited to offer a safe and engaging space for families to celebrate
the season while also connecting them to the programs and services
that make a real difference in their lives.”

While the Trunk or Treat is the
main event, CAPCIL staff will also have information available about
the agency’s programs and services for community members who would
like to learn more about the resources available to individuals and
families throughout Central Illinois.
