Lincoln Memorial Hospital’s
Trailblazers move inside to the YMCA for winter walking

LINCOLN – The Lincoln Memorial
Hospital’s Trailblazers can walk indoors on Wednesdays during the
winter months at the Lincoln Area YMCA located at 719 Wyatt Ave. in
Lincoln.
Anyone is welcome to join the Trailblazers, a free group which
normally walks outdoors on the walking path at LMH.
“This is a great opportunity to stay focused on your health and
exercise routine during the winter months,” said Molly McCain,
community health consultant. “Catch up with friends over your lunch
hour or just log your walking in a warm and dry setting. No worries
about the weather when you walk indoors!”

No registration is
required, and a YMCA membership is not needed. Walkers are
welcome between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning Jan.
7, through March 25. Prizes will be randomly distributed.
Walkers should bring comfortable walking shoes and a water
bottle.
