LMH Market kicks off the 2026 season

[May 11, 2026]  The LMH Market opened its season on Saturday, May 9, at the Expo building of the Logan County Fairgrounds. The Lincoln Memorial Foundation sponsors the market that runs from May 9 to September 19.

As shoppers walked in, they could grab a coffee from Brew 66 to sip while they shopped. The vendors were offering homemade and homegrown items. Vendors like Aunt B’s, Samsational Sweets, Zinful Confections, and The Healthy Crumb were offering baked goods. Elkhart Hill Vineyard brought their wines, four of which are made from fruit grown on Elkhart Hill. Several vendors were offering pure raw honey and items made with the honey and beeswax. Anna and Elsa from Steamship Bee Company had their observation bees on display and helped customers find the queen. Other vendors were offering fresh produce. The food girls were offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options.

There were organizations from Logan County, like the United Way and the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. These booths provided information about each organization's purpose and how to get involved in the community.

There were several activities for kids, including free face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house, and the option to decorate an LMH market tote. There was a “taste of the market” with samples from some of the vendors. For adults, free health screenings are available on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. These screenings include cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar checks.
