Land of Lincoln CEO Trade Show celebrates 10 years, launches three new student businesses
The public is invited to support student entrepreneurs at this milestone event

[April 23, 2026]  LINCOLN, IL – The Land of Lincoln CEO Program is proud to celebrate a major milestone with its 10th Annual Student-Owned Business Trade Show on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Logan County Tourism Bureau at the Historic Lincoln Depot. A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the trade show from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

This year’s event will showcase three new student-owned and operated businesses, created and launched by local high school students through the CEO Program. The trade show serves as the capstone experience of the year, giving students the opportunity to present their businesses, connect with the community, and sell their products and services.

The Land of Lincoln CEO Program is a year-long immersive experience designed for high school students with an entrepreneurial mindset. Participants from across Logan County engage in daily classes, hands-on business development, mentorships, guest speakers, and site visits to local businesses. Through this program, students gain real-world experience while also earning college credit from Heartland Community College.

Since its launch in 2015, the Land of Lincoln CEO Program has connected students with the local business community, equipping them with valuable skills in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The program is made possible through the generous support of local businesses, individual donors, and dedicated mentors.
