Children enjoy fun at games on
Kids Day at the Logan County Fair

Wednesday was the annual “Kids
Day, Kids Way” event at the Logan County Fair. The Lincoln Stage
barn, furthest north in the set of barns that run adjacent to the
midway and grandstand, was set aside for all kinds of fun activities
and gear exclusively for youngsters.
For Logan County Royalty Queen Grace Carter and the sister duo
Junior Miss Falyn and Little Miss Finley Farmer, it is a special day
they get to help organize and set up.
While they needed to be in other
barns part of the time handing out ribbons and trophies for various
judging events, they were able to come down for a while, playing
with kids and talking to them about the fair and what they have been
doing this week.
Perhaps the stories they were able to share with some of the young
girls will inspire them to become future contestants and local
royalty.

The inside area was staged with
tables and chairs in different groupings for each activity.
There kids (and parents) had fun creating, playing and making
memories with friends.
There were coloring books, a craft activity building a barn out
of popsicle sticks, face painting, stencil tattoos and outdoor
games like baseball, bubbles, chalk, jump rope, Velcro ball toss
and of course a petting zoo next door.
