Small Business
Saturday is an annual event that takes place each year as a
counterpoint to Black Friday. It is held on the Saturday
following Thanksgiving to encourage Americans to support local
small businesses. Similarly, Indies First is a national campaign
launched in 2013 to encourage readers and shoppers to visit
their independent bookstores on Small Business Saturday. By
shopping at Ink & Imprint Books and other locally owned
businesses on Nov. 29, customers help keep more money in Lincoln
and Logan County and contribute to a thriving community.
