Stamp Out Hunger this Saturday, May 9th

[May 08, 2026]  City and rural carriers of the Lincoln Post Office will be conducting their annual food drive on Saturday, May 9th.

Customers wishing to donate may leave their items in or around the mailbox for carrier pickup. Volunteers will also be helping to collect the food.

Food items donated should be canned goods or nonperishables in boxes. Please do not leave any items packaged in glass. Please be sure to check the expiration date of items donated as the food pantries cannot distribute expired items.

The food collected will be donated to the various food banks in Logan County.

This is the 34th annual food drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Stamp Out Hunger is the nation’s largest one-day food drive.

The USPS appreciates your support of this annual event.
