August news from Lincoln Emblem Club #433

[August 17, 2026]  CASINO NIGHT — On July 25, Lincoln Emblem Club hosted its first Casino Night for Elks and Emblem Club members and their guests.

Casino Party Planners from Springfield set up 10 professional gaming tables and provided the dealers. Guests were given chips to use at the gaming tables, and at the end of the evening, 10 raffle prizes from local Lincoln businesses were awarded. The event proved to be a fun and unique evening for everyone. Look for us again next year!

HAPPY FEET RESULTS
— August 10 was the annual Happy Feet event, where Lincoln Emblem Club, working with Shoe Sensations, provides new school shoes to children in Logan County. This community service project has been in operation for 10 years and has provided more than 730 pairs of shoes to local children.

This year, 13 schools, six churches, and three food pantries were given vouchers to distribute to children in need of new shoes. Shoe Sensations arrived early at the Lincoln Elks Ballroom with a van full of shoes ready for the children to select from. This year was a blue-ribbon year, with 146 pairs of shoes given to children—our largest year yet!

FALL GALA TICKETS - It is time to buy your tickets for this year’s Fall Gala, being held October 17 at 6:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus. This year’s theme is Bourbon and Diamonds.

The Fall Gala is the Lincoln Emblem Club’s biggest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds help fund community service projects, including Christmas Food Baskets and Happy Feet.

The evening will include a live auction, silent auction, wine pull, bourbon wall, photo booth, and, of course, dinner and dancing. The event is open to the public. For ticket pricing and information view the Fall Gala website or tickets may be purchased from a Lincoln Emblem Club member.

Lincoln Emblem Club #433 is proud to be part of the Logan County community. Whether we are gathering for a fun evening, providing shoes for local children, or raising funds for future projects, our members remain committed to making a difference in the community we call home.
