Halloween Decorations All Over
Logan County
[October 29, 2026]
Logan County is bringing out
the Halloween spirit and is ready to celebrate Halloween this
weekend. In New Holland, several houses are decorated with all kinds
of inflatable decorations. Some depict aliens abducting a cow, some
feature the Ghostbusters, and one even has a vampire Highland cow.
Several homes also have Jack-O-Lantern blow molds, ghosts hanging
from the porch, or Halloween-colored lights illuminating the porch.
Emden also has several homes decorated for the season. One home has
a witch with her bubbling cauldron in the driveway, along with
several ghosts and a scarecrow lighting the pathway to the house.
Another home is decorated with inflatables from different movies,
like The Minions, as well as other classic spooky characters.
Another home gives off traditional Halloween vibes, with a
jack-o'-lantern archway and larger-than-life monsters ready to greet
guests at the door. In the yard, there are scarecrows, a haunting of
ghosts, a giant purple spider, and several more jack-o'-lanterns and
ghosts lining one of the fences.
In Mt. Pulaski, you will find more ominous inflatable characters,
porches lit with pumpkins lining the steps, and ghosts and goblins.
Around Lincoln, you will find homes with large displays of skeletons
and other haunting creatures. These elaborate displays have sound
and lighting effects to enhance the spooky effect. Other displays
also feature orange, green, and purple lights illuminating porches,
along with inflatable pumpkins, ghosts, and vampires.
