Lincoln Community Theatre to host
live music and dancing at the Boogie Woogie Bugle Ball

Join Lincoln Community Theatre
at the Lincoln Park District on November 7 for a Boogie Woogie Bugle
Ball! Co-hosted by Young Dance, Inc., this USO-style swing dance
will feature live music from River Valley Big Band followed by
deejayed dance hits for a great night of music and dancing! The
evening includes a free swing dance lesson, refreshments, a costume
contest, and lots of fun! Entry is free!
Doors open at the Lincoln Park District ballroom at 5 p.m. and Jon
Young of Young Dance, Inc. will be teaching a beginners swing dance
lesson at 5:30 p.m. (No partner required). Peoria-based River Valley
Big Band will perform swing classics and dance hits from the 1920’s
through today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and social dancing will continue
from 8 until 10 p.m. with a playlist of favorite dance songs. Dress
up in your best USO or Big Band outfits and come enjoy music,
dancing, and refreshments– No tickets or reservations required!
