June 27, 2025 – The Community Association of Mt Pulaski, along with
the City of Mt Pulaski, invites you and your family and friends to
2nd Friday on the Square in Mt Pulaski on Friday, July 11 from 6 pm
until 9 pm (Jefferson St, Washington St and Cooke St). This month’s
theme is Dog Days of Summer.
The vendor market, including handmade crafts, antiques, direct
sales, baked goods & sweet treats, food trucks, and more, opens at 6
pm. In addition, local businesses, including our restaurants and
bars, will be open for business as well.
July’s live music entertainment will begin at 6 pm featuring
Southbound 121 on the main stage on Washington St, sponsored by Mt
Pulaski Economic Development Planning Board.
Activities for all ages from 6 pm to 9 pm include The Totally
Amateur Dog Show, Logan County K-9 Demo, Paws for a Photo, Logan
County Humane Society & Logan County Animal Control, meet the Paw
Patrol, bounce house, coloring station, and bubble station. In
addition, you can play yard games including giant Connect 4,
checkers, tic-tac-toe, and giant Jenga at the Longview Community
Bank tent.
The Totally Amateur Dog Show (for kids aged 10 and under) begins at
6:30 pm with registration from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm, all on
Jefferson St. Start practicing basic dog manners and most
importantly, a dog that walks next to you and stays in your space.
Judging categories include “Waggiest Tail”, “Best Biscuit Catcher”,
“Best Trick”, “Best Dressed”, and “Best in Show”. Dogs must be on
leash at all times and under complete control of the handler (parent
help encouraged). Owners must clean up their dog’s messes.
