The West Lincoln Broadwell Wolverines defeated the Mount Pulaski
Toppers (formerly the Bruins) 56-26 to win the 2026 8th Grade
Logan County Championship on Thursday night in Delavan.
Griffen Cross led the Wolverines with 22 points. Kruz Froebe had
18 points and Colby Bowman tossed in 11 points.
WLB was off to a fast start, leading 18-5 after the first
quarter. By halftime the Wolverines were up 35-12.
The WLB lead was 55-21 when the third quarter came to a close.
The Wolverines improved to 22-1 on the season with the 56-26
win.
Chester-East Lincoln defeated Hartsburg-Emden 41-25 in the third
place game.
