Lady Railers Pana Turkey Tournament

The Lady Railers Varsity basketball team went 2-1 over the
weekend as the 2025 Pana Turkey Tournament got underway.
Lincoln lost to Brownstown 49-28 on Friday night.
On Saturday morning four Lady Railers placed in double-figures as
Lincoln defeated Pana 79-21.
Mia Clark led Lincoln with 25 points.
Lily Holmes put up 18 points.
Emma Hutchison and Grace Bivin each contributed 10 points.
In Saturday afternoon’s game Lincoln beat Highland 40-33 in
overtime.
Highland had a 12-9 lead over Lincoln after the first quarter but
the Lady Railers turned up the heat in the second quarter on defense
and took a 25-14 lead at the half.
At the end of the third quarter Lincoln was on top 29-26.
The two teams were tied 33-33 at the end of the fourth quarter.
Lincoln held Highland scoreless in overtime while freshmen Grace
Bivin and Paisley Holmes each scored field goals. Bivin also made
two free throws to help seal the win and Mia Clark added one free
throw in overtime.
The Lady Railers finished the tournament with a 2-1 record and
improved to 3-1 overall on the season.
The Lady Railers will be back in action at the Pana Turkey
Tournament this coming Friday and Saturday.
