LCHS Dance Team headed to IDTA
State Finals
[February 12, 2026]
The LCHS Railette Dance Team will take the floor at the IDTA
State Finals on Saturday, February 14, at the Bank of Springfield
Convention Center in Springfield. The team has earned qualification
in two highly competitive divisions—Pom and Open Pom—capping a
season defined by discipline, teamwork, and achievement.
The Railers will perform their Open Pom routine at 10:48 a.m.,
followed by their Pom performance at 2:00 p.m. Spectators are
welcome and encouraged to attend the performances. Let’s fill the
arena with energy and support. A strong crowd presence can make a
meaningful difference, providing the team with the momentum and
enthusiasm that fuel championship-level performances.
Community members are also invited to line Wyatt Street as the team
departs Lincoln Community High School at 8:00 a.m., sending the
athletes off in style as they head to Springfield.

After six months of rigorous preparation and countless hours spent
perfecting their routines, the Railers enter the competition as the
reigning two-time IDTA Class 2A State Champions in the Pom division.
With experience, determination, and the backing of their hometown
crowd, the team looks to once again make its mark on the state
stage.
Lincoln will be cheering them on every step of the way.
