Emily Jo Ireland
Chezem, 32, of Pearl, formerly of Lincoln, passed
away October 30, 2026 at her residence.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2026,
from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Holland Barry &
Bennett funeral Home in Lincoln. Casual dress is
requested. Come celebrate Emily's life.
Emily was born July 13, 1994 in Lincoln, IL., the
daughter of Amy Parke and John Ireland. She attended
school in Lincoln and was active in Girl Scouts with
her aunt in her early years. She enjoyed reading,
cooking, being creative with crafts, makeup, her
hair and her nails. She loved her cats and enjoyed
interacting with her many online friends. |
Survivors include her mother Amy Parke, her father
John Ireland, brother Marcelis Parke, maternal grandparents Gary and Ruby Parke,
aunts: Gina Parke, Carla Lahr, and Geri Bitner, husband Matt Chezem, and several
cousins, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great
grandparents Lowell and Betty Powell and her brother Jeff Pickrell.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Amy Parke and will be
accepted at the funeral home.
