Service: A celebration of life will be held November 8th, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Lincoln VFW to honor Jeffrey and his brother Joseph.

Obituary

Jeffrey Allan Plotke, 38, of Lincoln, passed away October 13, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held November 8th, 2026 at 3PM at the Lincoln VFW to honor Jeffrey and his brother Joseph. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, where Joseph and Jeffrey will be buried with their brother James.

Jeffrey was born June 23, 1987, in Decatur, IL., the son of John Plotke Sr. and Shelly (Felton). He enjoyed music, drawing, walking the trails at the state park and being in nature, but most of all he loved spending time with his beautiful daughters.

Survivors include his father John Plotke Sr., mother and stepfather Shelly and James Rich, maternal grandparents Bud and Gaila Felton; daughters Olivia Knave and Elizabeth Knave; siblings Cameron Felton, Christina Plotke, Penny Plotke, Cindy Tennison, Aaron Rich, Jeremy (April) Rich, Mark Rich, and Nathan Rich; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bill and Jean Plotke, maternal grandmother Ramona Miles and her husband Robert Miles; and three brothers James Plotke, John Plotke Jr., and Joseph Plotke.

Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
