Docia May Barrick, 90,
of Mt. Pulaski, IL, passed away on Sunday, October
4, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
Docia was born in Chatham, IL, on January 21, 1936,
the daughter of Clinton and Ollie May (Reed) Brown.
She married Lewis Barrick. He preceded her in death
in 1996.
Docia is survived by her children, Doris “Kathy”
Watkins, Donald J. Daniels, Madonna Remlinger,
William Daniels, and Martha Jane McGregor; sister,
Margaret Lumley; sister-in-law, Darlene Brown;
thirteen grandchildren, thirteen
great-grandchildren, and three
great-great-grandchildren. |
She was also preceded
in death by six brothers, four sisters, and her
great-grandson, David Watkins.
A burial will take place at a later date. Cremation
rites have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home.
