Anna M. Daniels
lost her battle with lung cancer on Thursday,
October 1, 2026, at 1:00 AM at Mason City Area
Nursing Home.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services
upon her wishes.
Ann Remlinger was born September 17, 1954, in
Marshall, IL., the daughter of Mildred and Quincy
Remlinger. At the age of 9 she was adopted by Betty
and Jim Daniels and was raised in Lawndale, IL.
She was one of 11 children. Her surviving siblings
are Richard, Martha Jane (Marty), Madonna Rose
(Donna), and Mary Louise and many nieces and
nephews.

Ann worked at Myers Industries until it closed.
She then received her CDL and began driving for Rick Freed at Freol Trucking in
Mt. Pulaski, IL. She then went to work for Carl Oglesby in Lake Fork, IL. until
she retired. That is where she felt like family.
Ann will be cremated and combined with her beloved pug, Maggie.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County. |
