Obituary
James Robert Hayes II, 73, of
Broadwell, passed away at his home on Sunday,
September 28, 2025.
Funeral Services for Bob will be on Monday, October
6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Peasley Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Mr. Henry Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00
a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
James Robert Hayes II was born on September 22,
1952, in Lincoln, the son of James Robert Hayes I
and Helen Louise Renfrow Hayes.
He is survived by his children: April J. Hayes,
Michael (Loringie Clark) Hayes and James Ryan Hayes;
six grandchildren: Austin Hayes, Tadeym Bratcher,
Chloe E. Hayes, Hailey Hayes, Summer Hayes, and
Hunter B. Hayes; and two sisters: Debbie (James)
Wheeler and Kim (Tim) Daugherty. |
Bob graduated from Lincoln Community
High School in 1970. He had been employed at Lehn
and Fink, Precision Products, and Clearwater
Production. He was a member of the Lincoln Christian
Church. His hobbies were shooting guns, woodworking,
gardening, and watching NASCAR races.
