Obituary
Larry Wayne (Blade) Rasor, 69, of
Clinton, Illinois, passed away on October 23. 2025
with his loving family by his side. He was born May
8, 1956, in Clinton.
Graveside service will be Saturday, November 1, 2025
at 1:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery 9412 Cromwell Dr
Clinton, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held at
The Clinton Eagles after the service.
Larry married the love of his life, Lori Rasor on
May 8, 1999, and together they shared a lifetime of
laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion. He is
survived by his daughter Melissa (Kyle) Morris;
grandchildren Kenley, Kyndrick, and Kwyn Morris;
sister Sharon (Richard) Pierce; brother Ray Rasor;
nephew Jamey Rasor; and his special dog Marlee. He
is preceded in death by his parents Ginger and Jay
Rasor.
Larry worked for Revere Copper & Brass for 25 years,
later working at the Clinton Power Plant, and
eventually retiring from CUSD #15. He was a Golden
Eagle at the Clinton Eagles FOE #593. He was known
not only for his hard work, but for his kindness,
loyalty, and laughter he brought with him wherever
he went.
Those who knew Larry knew his heart was as big as
his smile. He loved riding his Harley Davidson
motorcycles and taking trips with Lori to motorcycle
races and together they attended many concerts. His
favorite band was Led Zepplin. He was an avid Cubs,
Bears, Illini, and Blackhawks fan. |

A proud grandpa, he never missed a
sporting event and spent countless hours swimming,
playing, and making memories with his grandkids. He
loved taking the kids on drives to look for deer,
and he was always up for a shopping trip with his
daughter and unloading lots of tubs of ice cream.
Lori always said her husband would
arrive on a white horse-and true to form, he pulled
up in his white truck for their first date. From
then on, the two were inseparable.
Larry had a lifetime of close friends whom he
cherished deeply, and he never passed up the chance
to sit, visit, and catch up. His love for his family
and his friends was steadfast and unmatched. He will
be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know
him.
Memorials may be directed to the grandchildren’s
education fund, c/o Lori Rasor.
