- Frances G. “Fran” Kelley, 90, of Lincoln, IL., passed away on
Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service for Fran will be held at a
future date at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.

Obituary
Frances G. “Fran”
Kelley, 90, of Lincoln, IL., passed away on
Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Fran was born on August 22, 1935, in Geneva, IL.,
the daughter of Albert and Evelyn Maude (Gregory)
Cox. She married Jack Kelley and they later
divorced.
Fran is survived by her children, Barbara (Gil)
Huerta, Joyce Cook, Wayne (Debbie) Kelley; her
daughter in-law, Mary Kelley; and by many loving
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son,
Bruce Kelley; and her former husband and father of
their children, Jack Kelley. |
Fran earned a master’s
degree in music from the University of Illinois and
spent many years teaching choir. In her free time,
she enjoyed music, fishing, and spending time with
her family.
A graveside service for Fran will be held at a
future date at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln. Cremation
has been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
