[July 17, 2025]  LINCOLN -  Leslie David “Les” Vincent, 60, of Lincoln, passed away July 14, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Visitation: Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Holland, Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.

Service: Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Leslie David “Les” Vincent, 60, of Lincoln, passed away July 14, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Holland, Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 PM with Pastor Darren Palmer officiating. Casual dress is requested. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.

Les was born April 26, 1965 in Evansville, IN., the son of John William Vincent Sr. and Charlene Ann (Watterson).

He was a free spirit with a rebel heart who loved his family and was an avid Harley enthusiast.

Survivors include his father Big John ( Kay) Vincent; his children: Destiny Ray Vincent and Leslie Lloyd “Les” Vincent ( Destinee), the mother of his children Michelle Holloway; grandchildren: Lily, Jerzie, Bosco, Leslie Chance “Les”, Olivia, Daxton, and Jazlyn; siblings: Medena Boyd ( Andy), Anthony “Boogie” Vincent, Little John Vincent, Charlene “Sissy” Vincent ( Jimmy Vannoy), Rick Vincent, and Manny Vincent (Kristina Lolling).

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his son Chance Jonathan Vincent.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to Shriner’s Hospital for Children and will be accepted at the funeral home.
