- Donna Jean Pokorski, 91, of Lincoln left this life on June 28,
2025, at 11:05 pm at Timber Creek Village Assisted Living.

Obituary
Donna Jean Pokorski, 91, of Lincoln
left this life on June 28, 2025, at 11:05 pm at
Timber Creek Village Assisted Living.
Mrs Pokorski retired from the State of Illinois.
Throughout her life she enjoyed doing artwork,
playing piano, singing in the church choir and most
importantly being with family. She will be missed by
family and friends. She deeply loved and trusted in
God to guide her through life.
She was born November 27, 1933 in Lincoln to Carl
and Monica Waschle Webster. She married the love of
her life, Richard Pokorski on January 27, 1953, in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death in July, 2016. Her
son David Pokorski also preceded her in death in
October 2019.
Survivors are son Jeff (Linell) Pokorski and
daughter Carol Johnson; four grandchildren, Bret
Pokorski (Natalie), Kristin Shmikler (Aaron), Joel
Johnson and Jordan Johnson (Shannon);
great-grandchildren, Landon, Emery, Shay and One on
the way. She is also survived by several nephews and
nieces. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents; one brother, Joseph "Jack" Webster; two
sisters, Roseann White and Carol Hobbs.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of
life will be held at a later date.
The family wants to express a special thanks to
TimberCreek Assisted Living staff, her private
caretakers (Landon and Natalie) and Gentiva Hospice
staff. Memorials may be made to TimberCreek Village
Assisted Living or Gentiva Hospice. Arrangements are
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln, IL.
