Obituary
Phyllis J. Moriearty passed away
peacefully on June 25, 2025, at St. Clara’s Rehab
and Senior Care Center in Lincoln.
Services for Phyllis will be held on Wednesday, July
2, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until
time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
Rev. Joseph Dondanville will officiate. Burial will
follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln.
Phyllis was born July 10, 1934, in Lincoln, to
Cletus and Margaret Pfeifer. They preceded her in
death, as did her siblings: Benice Cecil, Marjorie
Bode, Marian Overby, Harold Pfeifer, and Delores
McGill; one son, Scott Goodrich; and one grandson,
Andrew Goodrich.
Phyllis will be remembered as a resilient and strong
person. Her life was full raising her seven
children. They were the center of her life, and she
was a constant for them. In the midst of a busy
household, she found much joy in cooking, gardening
and making things beautiful. She was a friend to
many. The family would like to express their
gratitude to the dedicated employees of both the
Castle Manor and St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care
center for their compassionate care and support.
