Obituary
Alma Irene Dunham (Ely), 94, of
Lincoln, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 25,
2025, at Mt. Zion Rehabilitation.
Alma was born on March 31, 1931, in Lincoln, the
daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Gandy) Ely. She
married Charles R. Dunham on August 14, 1949, in
Broadwell, IL. He survives.
Alma is also survived by her sons, Steve (Rhonda),
David (Vicki), Tim (Lori), and Larry (Debbie)
Dunham; daughter, Christy Sheley; nineteen
grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren;
fourteen great-great grandchildren; and numerous
angel babies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters,
Wanda Herrell, Mable Kisinger, and Clara Grice; her
brothers, Raymond, Donald, and Kenneth Ely; and one
great -grandson. |
Funeral services for Alma will be
held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10:00
to 11:00 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will
follow the service at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in
Alma’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital.
