Rodney B. Dove, 63,
of Lincoln, passed away June 21, 2026 at Springfield
Memorial Hospital.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A memorial service will be
held Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11 AM at Holland
Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Rodney was born July 3, 1962 in Kansas City, MO.,
the son of Harry Charles Dove and Melba Darlene (
Hoheimer). He was a mechanic, welder/fabricator and
worked at Charron’s and RBC Towing. He enjoyed hot
rods and model cars. Rodney was a
spiritual/religious person.

Survivors include his
son Christopher Sanders, daughter Jennifer Sanders,
numerous grandchildren; brother Eddie Ray Dove, and
sister Sheila Grant.
He was preceded In death by his parents, his wife
Lori Dove, brother Kenneth Charles Dove, sister
Billie Jo Mayfield, and sister Bobbi Amos.
