Obituary
Ronald Junior
Connor, 85, of Lincoln, passed away June 22, 2026,
at home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM Friday,
June 26, 2026, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral
Home. Funeral services will be at 11 AM also at the
funeral home with Pastor John Cotton officiating.
Burial will follow in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Ronald was born May 12, 1941, in Hempstead, NY., the
son of Texas Easter Connor and Evalane Gracie (Goins)
Connor. He married Kathryn Ellen (Funke) Cotton on
October 5, 2001. He proudly served his country in
the United States Air Force. Ronald was an inspector
of office furniture for S.C.P. in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. He enjoyed boating, traveling, and
watching boxing. He was of the Baptist Faith and was
a former member of Park Meadows Baptist Church in
Lincoln, attending until his health declined. |
Survivors include his
wife, Kathryn Connor; daughter Tina (James) Reed,
son John (Tina) Cotton; grandchildren: Robert (
Megan) Butler, Tia Butler, Justina (Kevin) Knowles,
Janina (John) Rightmyer, and John Cotton Jr.; great
grandchildren: Tyson Roos, Jaden Butler, Jafari
Butler, Kevin Knowles III, Kambri Knowles, and
Maisley Rightmyer; sister Aloma Marks also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and
brothers Trovant Connor and Dwite Connor.
