passed away in Las Cruces, NM on Tuesday, May 21, 2026.

Donald Garrett (DG)
Lanterman, 86, formally of Lincoln and Elkhart,
passed away in Las Cruces, NM on Tuesday, May 21,
2026.
Don was born on November 15, 1939, son of Donald C.
and Mildred (Andes) Lanterman. He married Marilyn
Reeves on July 2, 1961 in Elkhart, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, David
(Don Malotte) Lanterman, Dan (Stacey) Lanterman and
Cindy (Fred) Santibanez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister
Dorothy Leininger.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan
County, Illinois.
