May 19, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving friends who became
family.

Mary Mitzelfelt, 71,
of Mt. Pulaski, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 19,
2026, at home surrounded by her loving friends who
became family.
Mary was born on January 4, 1955, in Fairfield, IA,
raised by her great-grandma, Edith.
Mary is survived by her son, William (Billy) Richard
Smith; her friend and caretaker, Stephanie Schmidt;
and her surrogate granddaughter, Evelynn Grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
sisters, and her son, Brandon.
Mary enjoyed spending time with friends, listening
to music, and crocheting. |

been accorded by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Mt. Pulaski.
