Obituary
Ruth Juanita
Stiles, 80, of Lincoln, passed away May 15, 2026 at
her home.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, May 21,
2026 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday, May 22,
2026 also at the funeral home with Pastor McNeely of
Abundant Life House of Praise officiating. Burial
will follow in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery.
Ruth was born May 5, 1946, in Mclean, IL., the
daughter of Glenn C. Gill Sr. and Helen I. (Hardin)
Gill. She married Ralph Charles Stiles Sr. He
preceded her in death on December 30, 1997. She
attended Abundant Life House of praise for many
years. Ruth enjoyed crafts, coloring, and bingo. She
loved spending time with her family, especially the
grandkids.
Survivors include her children: Blanche Rose, Jenny
(Terry) Cross, Mary (Nick) McCree, Winnie (Allen)
Ransdell, Helen Stiles (Shannon Haynes), and Christy
Stiles, 22 grandchildren, numerous
great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren;
and brothers Roger (Cynthia) Gill Sr. and Rex
(Julie) Gill Sr. |
She was preceded in
death by her parents, her husband, her children
Ralph Stiles Jr., Michael Stiles, Jack Stiles Jr.,
and Rose Tolliver, and siblings: Wanda Cross, Rick
Gill Sr., Bob Gill, Virginia Shreve, Betty Hulva,
Dorothy Dambacher, Shirley Dambacher, Georgia
Horchem, and Marilyn McCray.
Memorial donations may be made to Abundant Life
House of praise.
