7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Obituary
Linda Vannoy, 78, of
Lincoln, passed away on April 4, 2026, at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born on March 8, 1948, in Lincoln, the
daughter of Rex and Helen Jean (Johnson) Winstead.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Amy Vannoy;
sisters, Joyce Grigg, Susie Winstead, and Helen
Karrick; and her four-legged cat daughter, Kiria;
her grand fur babies, Stewie, Ernie, Naeveh, and Pip
(or as Linda always called her “Pippy”).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and
companion, Ellis West.
Linda enjoyed going to garage sales, playing bingo
with her friends, and playing cards, especially 500
Rummy. She was a very caring and giving person;
anyone who knew her knew her capacity to appreciate
others. |
Linda enjoyed spending
time with her family mostly with her daughter, Amy,
when she was grilling for her family & friends.
Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her and
her sense of humor will always be remembered.
A memorial gathering
for Linda will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on
Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Donations may be made in
Linda’s name to the Humane Society of Logan County.
