Obituary
Virginia Sue “Ginger”
Musick, 68, of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Tuesday,
March 31, 2026, at her home.
Ginger was born February 4, 1958, in Lincoln, IL,
the daughter of Hank and Dee (Wurzburger) Podbelsek.
Ginger is survived by her children, Miles (Lisa)
Musick, Marissa (Alex Orear) Musick, and Mason
(Brittany) Musick; grandchildren, Henry, Hannah,
Hazel, Kade, and Kiera; and her siblings, Jennifer
Tobias, Dan (Ann) Podbelsek, Natalie (Mike) Metzger,
and Guy (Rose) Podbelsek.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister,
Leslie Sank.
Ginger enjoyed thrift shopping and finding a good
deal, baking for others, going to the beach, and
word games. She was known for her strong work ethic
and always strived for perfection in everything she
did. Ginger loved her late cat “Mia”, but most of
all, she loved her family. |
Funeral services for
Ginger will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 7,
2026, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Visitation will take place the night prior,
Monday, April 6, 2026, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, also at
the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at
Richmond Grove Cemetery in New Holland, IL.
Memorials may be made in Ginger’s name to the Humane
Society of Logan County.
