Obituary
Robert “Bob” Wood, 50,
of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 15,
2026, at his home.
Bob was born June 23, 1975, in Lincoln, IL, the son
of Leslie and Barbara (Maltas) Wood.
Bob is survived by his mother, Barbara; sister, Lisa
Dial; stepchildren, Michael Galvin, Heather Galvin,
and Chelsea (Mike) Robinson; ten grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his
niece, Tiffany (Zachary) Lee; great-nephew, Preston
Lee; great-niece, Braylen Lee, and his fur babies
Smokey and Bandit.
He was preceded in death by his father and
grandparents. |
Bob started playing
drums the second he could in school, during 4th
grade. He played the drums in several bands where he
was referred to as “Hollywood”. Bob had a big heart
and loved everyone, especially dogs. He enjoyed
hunting and fishing with his dad, and played pool
for several years.
A memorial gathering
for Bob will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday,
February 23, 2026, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Memorials may be made in
Bob’s name to his family in ℅ Barbara Wood.
