2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Obituary
Linda Sue Cumby, 79,
of Lincoln, IL, passed away on January 24, 2026, at
Springfield Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born on May 27, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN,
the daughter of Charles and Hilda (Blair) Cumby.
Linda is survived by her older sister, Pat Everett;
children, Rhonda Martinie, Ron Martinie, and Angela
Dyer all of Lincoln; grandchildren, Samantha
Martinie, JR Evans, Dakota Martinie, Dylan Martinie;
and the grandson who held a special place in her
heart, Charles Dyer. She is also survived by several
great-grandkids and great-great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, one
sister, one brother, great-grandson, River Evans;
and her very best friend, Judy Sutton. |
Linda loved Jimmy
Johnson and the Chicago Cubs. She was loved by all
and will be greatly missed by many. Linda’s smile
could light up the room. She was sassy and never
afraid to tell you how it is.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
