William E. "Bill"
Anderson 90, of Lincoln, passed away January 22,
2026, at Lincoln Village Healthcare.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. Graveside services will be
held at a later date.
Bill was born September 13, 1935, in Astoria, IL.,
the son of William H. Anderson and Luella L.
(Butler). He married Mary L. Burnham in 1970. She
preceded him in death in 2017. He was an avid St.
Louis Cardinals fan. Bill worked as a truck driver,
propane delivery man, and a Wal-Mart greeter and
lawn and garden associate. He enjoyed traveling,
cooking, and baking.
Survivors include his son in law Robert Gephart,
granddaughter Pamela Loveall, great grandchildren:
Kelsey Gephart and Shelby Leigh and
great-great-grandson Cole Gephart; sisters Peggy
(Ron) Boyd, Joanne Wooten, and Linda Ligato also
survive. |
He was preceded in
death by his parents, his wife Mary L. Anderson,
stepdaughter Linda Gephart, and brothers Robert
Anderson and Jack Anderson.
