Kevin J. Benson,
62, of Lincoln, passed away December 22, 2025, at
Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Cremation rites
have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
Kevin was born June 14, 1963, in Decatur, IL., the
son of Ernest and Eula Christine (Cole) Benson. He
married Carlene Harvey on June 14, 1997. Kevin
retires from the State of Illinois. He loved
spending time with his grandsons, taking them
fishing. He was a simple man and enjoyed his home
life.
Survivors include his wife Carlene Benson,
stepdaughters Carissa, Briana, and Macey; his
beloved grandsons Kaiden, Braylen, and Jaxon;
sisters Cheryl Roemelin and Melanie Damery; and
several nieces and nephews. |
He was preceded in
death by his parents.
