Business Spotlight: Experience Beauty Bar

the Lincoln Daily News Saturday Business Spotlight is shining on
Experience Beauty Bar, 206 South Chicago Street in Lincoln.
The business is owned and managed by Ashley Jackson, who opened her shop
four years ago. Since that time she has grown her business with the help
of experienced beauty professionals at her side.
In the shop,
Ashley is the Color and Hair Care leader with Aubrey Letterle and
Annalynn Williams working alongside her. Emily Stewart is the go-to
person for Hair Extensions, Lash Extension, and Brow Styling. Larissa
Pearson is the one you will want to see for beautiful nails.
Experience Beauty Bar is a modern luxury salon offering hair, nails,
skincare, scalp facials, and lash and hair extension services in a
welcoming and uplifting atmosphere focused on confidence, creativity,
and community.
Ashley chose the beauty field because she said she has always loved
helping people feel beautiful and confident inside and out. Creating a
space where people can relax, recharge, and leave feeling their best has
always been her passion.
Ashley said that she chose to build her business in Lincoln because this
community is very special to her. “Lincoln has been home to me for many
years, and I wanted to build something meaningful within the community
that has supported me throughout my journey.” She also wanted to give
people a place they could come for their self-care needs that felt like
a home away from home.

Ashley said, “I
love the connections we build with our clients and team, watching people
grow in confidence, and creating an environment that feels inspiring,
welcoming, and positive every day.”
Ashley worked in other salons before starting up her own shop and says
that if asked, she would offer the following advice to any person
wanting to dip their toe in the pool of business ownership.
“Stay consistent, stay humble, and don’t be afraid to start small. Build
genuine relationships, trust the process through the ups and downs, and
believe in your vision even before others see it.”
Business hours at Experience Beauty Bar are Monday thru Wednesday 9 a.m.
to 8 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
