CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The AgTech Innovation Showcase returns this
summer, offering farmers a unique opportunity to connect with
startups, explore new technologies and share real-world insights
to shape future on-farm solutions. The event is a collaboration
between BioSTL, Illinois Farm Bureau and University of Illinois
Research Park.
The AgTech Innovation Showcase, held July 16 from 9 a.m. to 1
p.m. at University of Illinois Research Park, Champaign, is a
free event aimed at connecting farmers, innovators and industry
professionals.
“The event is about giving our members and the Illinois
agriculture community a firsthand look at emerging new farming
solutions and a chance to help shape how these tools evolve,”
said Jenny Webb, Illinois Farm Bureau associate director of
industry affairs. “We’re thrilled to bring the event to Research
Park this year, partnering with both the University of Illinois
and BioSTL to connect farmers with the people creating practical
tools for real-world challenges.”
The showcase will feature rapid-fire presentations from startup
companies offering cutting-edge, on-farm solutions, rotating
sessions for attendees to connect directly with each innovator
and networking with peers from across the agriculture community.
The showcase is designed to give participants an early look at
emerging ag tech solutions designed for farmers in this region.

“We are excited to welcome everyone to Champaign to showcase
agtech innovation,” said Laura Bleill, University of Illinois
Research Park director of external engagement. “Gathering real
feedback from potential customers is important for all startups,
and especially significant in the agtech sector. This
collaboration between Illinois Farm Bureau, BioSTL and the
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a win for our
region.”
