On Sunday, August 24th, the annual
Shady Car Show was hosted at Memorial Park in Lincoln. There were
over one hundred cars entered into the show that ran from 10:30 a.m.
to about 3:30 p.m. At just about 3:00, awards were given out to 28
of the people who entered vehicles into the show. First, 25 cars
were chosen to be in the top 25. Next, the Founders Award was handed
out. This award is to honor Shady Car Show founder Wayne Ackerman.
The award after that was the Sponsor’s Choice Award. This year, the
sponsor choosing this award was John Barrick of Barrick Transfer.
The final award of the show was the Best in Show award.
