The annual library book sale has become one of the most coveted
events of the Balloons Over Rt. 66 weekend. Saturday morning avid
readers hit the ground running and by noon there was very little
left. After all, a buck a bag or box was too hard to resist for
many!!!!

The familiar face of our former librarian, Richard Sumrall, greeted
us and was readily available to help and answer any questions.

Young and old alike hunted for something that piqued their
interest—perhaps a book to carry them away to a different land or
one that would help them understand how to work on a certain
project. You name it—books, records, audio books, magazines and tons
of children's books were available. No one walked out empty-handed.
