Among the many events in downtown
Lincoln Saturday, August 29 was a bags contest on Pulaski Street.
The tournament went on into the early afternoon.
Teams competing had two cornhole sets to throw the bags at and try
to hit the target as people watched and cheered them on.
When the bags drop down into the hole, the thrower receives three
points. One point is awarded when the bag lands on the board, hangs
in the hole or hits the edge of the board.
