Railsplitter Antique Auto Club holds cruise-in at Postville Park

[June 03, 2026]

The shade trees of Postville Park provided the perfect canopy on Saturday for a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The afternoon cruise-in brought together a stunning lineup of vehicles spanning decades, charting nearly 100 years of automotive design, engineering, and passion.

Car lovers walked down the rows of shiny cars beneath the shade trees and encountered passionate car owners who welcomed questions, opened the hoods, and shared the unique histories of their vehicles. Friends and family gathered to hang out and share stories. Periodically, the crowd would be impressed by the rumble of a classic engine. There was also a bit of excitement as a parade of several Ford Broncos cruised past the park, heading down the road to the Mill.

Making the event more nostalgic, tunes from Elvis and the Beatles were playing in the background as conversation amongst the car community thrived.

Across the street at Route 66 Corner Garage Antiques and Collectables, you could grab refreshments and food from food trucks stationed in their parking lot. The Railsplitter Antique Auto Club also hosted a 50/50 raffle. There was an information booth set up to the side with 50/50 tickets and information regarding the auto club.

The cruise-in was just a preview of many cruise-ins and car shows that will be hosted by the Railsplitter Antique Auto Club across Logan County this summer.
