Lincoln Senior Flats hosts car show and open house

[April 14, 2026]

On Sunday, Lincoln Senior Flats hosted a Car Show and Open House. It was windy outside, but that didn’t stop community members from checking out the apartments and the festivities.

Railsplitter Antique Auto Club gathered in the parking lot to show off their cool cars. There were 17 cars: several Mustangs and other classic Fords, a couple of Chryslers, and several Chevrolets, among others. While displaying the classic cars, they also played the oldies.

Harold Stanton was there with his 1929 Model A Ford. He has collected several similar cars over the years. He has had this model since 1998. He shared photos of his other vehicles and said he enjoys teaching young people about these cars. Jim and Diane Loeffler were also there with their cars: a white and baby blue 1959 Fairlane and a turquoise 1959 Edsel. They are from Lincoln and have two other vehicles in their collection.

Closer to the building, food trucks were set up offering lunch and cool beverages. The Daily Wrap offered lunch selections, and Loo’s Sugar Buzz offered dirty sodas, coffees, and energy drinks.

Just outside the front door, WLCN 96.3 FM was broadcasting live. They were also taking entries for drawings for Knights Action Park tickets and tickets to Lauren Alaina and Josh Cook at the Logan County Fair in August.

Inside, there was lemonade, water, cupcakes, and cookies being offered. There was a raffle for a basket featuring a blanket, tea towels, and other goodies. Tours available were available of a one-bedroom apartment downstairs, a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor, the fitness center, and community room. Ami, Regional Vice President overseeing other properties in Michigan and Ohio, was on hand to give tours and provide information to prospective tenants. There is currently limited availability.
