Obituary
Bunny Laymon, 81, of
Atlanta, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 7,
2026.
Services for Bunny will be held at the
Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta on Saturday,
June 13, 2026. Visitation will begin at noon,
followed by Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Doug
Maris will officiate. She will be laid to rest in
St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln.
Bunny Hutchcraft was born April 1, 1945, the
daughter of Arthur C. and Ruth L. Longridge
Hutchcraft, Sr. She was united in marriage to Gary
Doug Laymon on July 10, 1989. He survives.
Bunny is also survived by her children: Duane Swarts,
TJ (Rachel) Swarts, Chuck (Larisa) Demling, and Dawn
(Bob) Gorman; sixteen grandchildren; twelve
great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Sandra
Jacobs, Trudy (Mike) Coleman, Arthur “Coy” (Anne)
Hutchcraft, Jr., and Gregg (Kathy) Hutchcraft. |
She was preceded in
death by her parents.
Bunny had worked at Lincoln Chrysler Dodge Lincoln
as the office manager. She enjoyed fishing, flowers,
and gardening, and spending time with her
grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Atlanta
Rescue Squad.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
