[April 29, 2024]  HARTSBURG - Irma Emelia Kaesebier Leesman went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.

Celebration of Life:  Saturday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hartsburg.

Funeral home: Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Lincoln

Irma Emelia Kaesebier Leesman went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.

Irma Kaesebier was born October 28th, 1924, near Dwight IL, daughter of Edward and Tina (Trepel) Kaesebier. She was united in marriage to Virgil Leesman on September 13th, 1942, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Emden. Irma was preceded in death by her husband, June 24th, 2012, and her one sister, Dorothy Oltmanns.

Irma is survived by her six children: Becky (Larry), Myron (Debbie), Luther (Mary), Ann, Martha (Dave), Neil (Sheri); 15 grandchildren, plus great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. All were blessed by Much Love and many prayers.

Irma was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, involved with choir, Sunday School, Quilters, and Ladies Aid. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary and recently awarded for her 75 years as a member.

Irma’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 4th, at 1:30pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hartsburg. A dessert reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church and Kogudus. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
