Abigail Jean-Marie Jones, a 2025
graduate of Mount Pulaski High School and FFA alumna, has earned the
American FFA Degree, the highest degree awarded by the National FFA
Organization. Jones received this honor during the 99th National FFA
Convention on October 24, 2026, in recognition of her achievements
in agricultural education, leadership, community service, and
supervised agricultural experience.
The American FFA Degree is awarded to a select group of FFA members
who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their education, personal
growth, and future careers in agriculture. Less than one percent of
FFA members earn this distinction. To qualify, members must meet
rigorous requirements for their supervised agricultural experience,
community service, leadership, and involvement in FFA and their
communities.
Jones was a member of the Mount Pulaski High School FFA chapter from
2021 to 2025 and served as chapter vice president during the
2024-2025 school year. Under the guidance of agricultural education
instructor Ralph Allen, she developed leadership skills and gained
valuable experiences that helped shape her educational and career
goals.
